Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church

Adult Education

Go and make disciples. That’s the simple job description for the church. And that’s what we do.

Through our adult Sunday School (9:15-10:15 a.m.), focused group studies, and intentional disciple-making triads, we walk alongside as you begin your relationship with Jesus, grow in your faith and find meaningful ways to serve Him.

March 3- June 2

LUTHER’S LARGE CATECHISM:  “Catechism” is a summary of the principles of Christian religion in the form of questions and answers, used for the instruction of Christians.”  Martin Luther wrote in 1530:  ‘It is not for trivial reasons that we constantly treat the Catechism and strongly urge others to do the same.  For we see to our sorrow that many pastors and preachers are very negligent in this respect and despise both their office and this teaching itself.’  In some ways, our 21st century situation is not so unlike that of 16th century Germany.  May it not, and never, be so at Grace!  As a refresher to life-long Lutherans, and as an adult study for all who are ‘newer’ to Lutheranism, join Pastor Powell for a Sunday school study of Luther’s Large Catechism, beginning March 3rd.
