Grace Youth Ministry

The Grace youth ministry is built on teaching students God’s word and bringing them together for fun and for service. Our six-year Faith Journey curriculum, a Lutheran catechism-based course of study, takes 7^th to 12^th grade students through the basics of the faith, preparing them both for Affirmation of Baptism (grade 10) and Commissioning to Public Discipleship (grade 12). Our goal is to meet students right where they are in their faith and to walk with them as their faith grows and deepens.

Sunday morning Sunday school is held from 9:15 am to 10:15 am in the youth wing. Youth group meets Sunday evenings most weeks, watch for more specific details. A wide variety of additional activities and events (on and off-site) are scheduled throughout the year, including our annual youth mission trip!

Welcome to our new Director of Youth Ministry Dennis Fry.

Originally from Dublin, Ohio, Dennis has lived in Springfield since 2009 and brings extensive experience in youth ministry. He has served with Inside Out Youth, Eagle and Dove Academy, Lifewise Academy, and the Salvation Army. Dennis holds degrees in Youth Ministry, Counseling, and Youth & Family Ministry. He and his wife, Erin, have six sons, and Dennis also enjoys leading worship as an accomplished guitarist.
